3 Suggestions for Dr. Hensley: (1) You should look into upgrading your wifi quality/equipment. A couple times on our zoom calls, your connection dipped out and the uploaded recordings have silence in those spots as well. One of those times was during my question, so I never heard your full answer. (2) During Session 1, you taught us how we could send questions privately to you through your chat box, but when I did this in later courses, they were not seen. The public chat box was the only one being read. (3) I'm sure this request is disliked by most, but we would've liked the course to be extended out to 8 weeks, instead of 4, with zoom calls being every other week. It felt to us that by the time a session was over, we had to immediately start on the modules for the next session and didn't have time to work on what we had just learned. The entire month felt like my partner and I were drowning, barely keeping up. Especially true for families with young children- it's very hard to keep up with the speed of the course!
Now after listening to you for about 6 months, I am leaving the situation. I am working on me. I am trying to heal the childhood trauma wounds. I am terrified. I have no clue how I will make it but I know God has me in his arms.
Thank you for what you do! Thank you for sharing your experiences and traumas! Thank you for being real and relatable.
Once I can get out of this man’s house, and get on my own two feet; I will be signing up for your classes. I never knew how much I needed you, your insights, your knowledge but I am so glad you ended up on my FYP. Please say prayers for me as I venture off into this new world. I am scared but so ready. What could be worse than this?
Thank you for your input, as well, Raina! Keep going ladies because you are changing the world! Thank you for what you do from my whole heart! ❤️
Sarah...
I don’t know if you remember me, but I thank God for you every day. I honestly can’t thank you enough for starting my journey toward recovery from my trauma bond. If it hadn't begun with you, I honestly don’t know if I would be here today.
I’ve been no contact with my abuser for almost two years now. I remember when you told me that breaking the addiction to a trauma bond would be as hard as breaking an addiction to heroin—I thought you were crazy at the time. But now, looking back, I truly understand. I want you to know how thankful I am for you, personally. Thank you for testifying for me in court and for the letter. I truly believe I wouldn’t be here without your support.
Because of your help, I’m now coaching survivors in Utah at a place called Passion Community Center. I’m finally sharing my story and helping others find their way to healing. Thank you for everything you’ve done—and for all the work you continue to do.
Thank you… I can now move forward.

Relationship Coaching Services
Coaching works much different and faster than therapy. Just like a sports coach, there is no need to dissect a player’s entire history—we need immediate play-by-play winning strategies for success based on what is going on in the current game, and that’s exactly what Dr. Hensley and her team give to clients for their current relationship situation.
